Nowadays living in Nashville, the unique KIM CARNES turns 71 today. She scored numerous hits over the years, including a remake of Smokey Robinson's "More Love" and a duet with Kenny Rogers titled "Don't Fall in Love with a Dreamer." Without question, her shining moment came with a remake of a song written by Jackie DeShannon. The song, originally performed by DeShannon Broadway style on a long-forgotten album was remade in all minor keys by Carnes and reigned at number 1 on the charts for an unprecedented 10 weeks.
