In an exclusive interview on Townsquare Media and Beach Radio sister station, WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM Thursday morning, Gov. Phil Murphy painted a picture of what a new normal might look like in the Garden State.

Gov. Murphy said he would, " on both knees praying that we will have a ... meaningful window of at least remotely getting back to some amount of normalcy this summer."

Murphy then went on to paint a picture of what a reopened restaurant might look like in New Jersey.

Murphy stated, which is subject to change depending on the exact circumstances, a restaurant might have a server with an instant thermometer to check the temperature of everyone who enters, the workers inside would be wearing masks and gloves, tables are sanitized aggressively and frequently, and the restaurant might be able to operate at fifty percent capacity with tables several feet apart.

Murphy stated he feels that is a responsible way for the state to get back on its feet. He also said it doesn't stay that way forever but it may need to begin that way.
