Ginger Is Now Up For Adoption and Looking For A Loving Home
This is an update to an earlier story that we brought to you. Few weeks ago we told you about Ginger the husky that was found left in a cage in the Barnegat woods with no food or water. Luckily Ginger was found by a local resident and turned over to authorities. There has been a $1,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this horrible crime.
Ginger has been at Associated Humane/Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River since being found and now we have good news! Ginger is now available for adoption and ready for a loving family who can finally give her a nice home. According to Popcorn Park, Ginger is an 8 month old Husky mix. They describe Ginger as “bright, bubbly & full of energy”. They do recommend the adoptive family have a nice “fenced in” backyard where Ginger can run & play. The zoo also recommends a home with no small children because she has little to no training and can be a lil rough when playing, but not a mean bone in her body.
If Ginger sounds like a good match for you contact the Popcorn Park Zoo and schedule a visit to meet this girl who deserves a family willing to share time and love with the Husky.
