Giant whale causes boat to capsize in Monmouth County

Here's a story about how a whale took on a boat in Monmouth County.

Two people in a 20-foot boat were fishing in the waters a mile off the coast in Deal Thursday when suddenly they had a close encounter with a whale which swam beneath their vessel.

The vessel then capsized, forcing the boaters overboard.

New Jersey State Police say nobody was hurt and their Marine Services Bureau is conducting an investigation.

"Charges against the whale are pending it's apprehension."
