THE BEACH & ATLANTIC OCEAN

Cape May, New Jersey has miles of beautiful beaches to relax or take a swim.

The beaches are protected by certified and well-trained Cape May City Lifeguards.

Even if you do not partake in beach activities, the backdrop setting is absolutely magical.

GREAT HOTELS, MOTELS, BED & BREAKFASTS

Cape May has dozens of high-quality hotels, motels, and bed & breakfasts to choose from.

The above beachfront property is The Sea Crest Inn, owned by Bob and Cyndi Progner, located directly on iconic Beach Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey.

The main building opened in August 1978, the elevated building was built in 1990. The rooms have been continuously updated throughout the past 44 years.

CAPE MAY RESTAURANTS ARE OUTSTANDING

Pictured above, is the iconic La Mer Beachfront Resort, which features a wonderful restaurant. The dining experience is excellent.

It’s located right on Beach Avenue, in the quiet section of Cape May City.

There are countless, incredible food and beverage experiences waiting to be had in Cape May.

WILLOW CREEK WINERY & FARM

In addition to all aspects of the winery and farm, there are also six cottages, which makes for a great getaway.

The cottages are surrounded by stunning vineyard views and magnificent gardens.

CAPE MAY HORSE & CARRIAGE RIDES

If you’ve never done this before, it is a wonderful experience. It’s a combination of elegance, coupled with a throwback feeling of long ago before motorized cars became the prevalent form of travel.

There are literally dozens of stores that seem to have something for everyone in the family.

From restaurants, clothes, toys for children, ice cream parlors and so much more.

We absolutely love Sunset Beach.

You can:

• Grab a fast meal
• Gift Shop with something for everyone
• Look at the “Concrete Ship” in the ocean, just off of the coastline
• Miniature Golf
• Hunt for Cape May sea glass

During the summer, every day at sunset, The Hume Family (Sunset Beach owners) hold a wonderful, patriotic ceremony, whereby The United States flag is lowered with dignity and respect.

MID-ATLANTIC CENTER FOR THE ARTS TROLLEY TOURS

The perfect way to relax and tour Cape May at the same time.

Just board the trolley and you’ll get to see all of the magnificent beachfront homes, various mansions, and historical sites.

This is a great family activity.

The ticket booth for the various trolley tours is located at The Washington Street Mall.

ANTIQUE SHOPPING

There are many different antique shops in Cape May. You will come across so many interesting and diverse items.

EMLEN PHYSICK ESTATE TOUR

The rich history of Dr. Physick and this estate makes for a great family activity and your.

The tours are conducted by very knowledgeable people, dressed in clothing from the late 1800s.

The Physick Estate was built in 1879. It is an 18-room mansion that is considered to be an architectural wonder.

During this amazing tour, you will feel like you have been transported back to the late 1800s. It’s a really fun activity.
