Four Ocean County residents are facing a hefty sum of charges following their arrests for the distribution of illegal drugs in the area, announced Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.

Investigators say the arrestees used two motel rooms in Seaside Heights and a house in Toms River to manufacture, store and distribute undisclosed amounts of heroin around Ocean County.

A month-long investigation into the illegal drug activity led Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Regional SWAT Team, along with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, officers from the Seaside Heights Police Department, and the Toms River Police Emergency Services Unit and Special Enforcement Team to simultaneously execute no-knock search warrants at the locations in Seaside Heights and Toms River.

As a result, law enforcement seized undisclosed quantities of raw unpackaged heroin and quantities of heroin packaged for resale, as well as quantities of “crack” cocaine and marijuana.

Drug paraphernalia associated with the manufacture, production and distribution of heroin were also seized.
