A now former Keansburg Middle School teacher faces three-years in a state prison after pleading guilty to dealing child porn and coming to terms on a plea agreement, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

31-year old Marc S. Marinoff of Pear Drive in Marlboro will also be subject to the provisions of Megan's Law upon his release from prison and is permanently banned from holding any public employment in New Jersey and forfeited his job as a teacher.

Marinoff who taught at Joseph R. Bolger Middle School, plead guilty to one count of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child involving the Distribution of Child Pornography.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 29, 2018, by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Ellen Torregrossa-O'Connor.

He was arrested last year after detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office conducted a search of his home and found various personal electronic devices which were seized and examined, revealing child pornography had been possessed and distributed.

Prosecutors say a forensic examination of the devices revealed that Marinoff distributed kiddie porn videos through a peer-to-peer file-sharing program.

The case is assigned to Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Margaret Koping.

Marinoff is represented by Mitchell J. Ansell Esq., of Ocean Township.
