"Boom!" goes the dynamite this weekend as explosions could be heard across Ocean County the next few days, April 5th - 7th.

It's more training exercises in the Pine Barrens, with Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst issuing the heads up that three days worth of exercises will make for a noisy first weekend of April.

It's scheduled to start on Friday, April 5th, with demolitions training penciled in for the afternoon. Then, this weekend, anti-tank rounds will reverberate all day on Saturday and until the early afternoon on Sunday.

Here's the full statement from JB-MDL:

Keep in mind, with overcast weather expected for the next few days, the noise could be both loud and more widespread than if the skies were clear.
