Driver ends up in Berkeley Township mans living-room

A woman who 'became startled' at a stop sign on Jamaica Boulevard in Berkeley Township Monday afternoon ends up driving into a home.

Police say the woman became started by a car crossing Nostrand Drive and she over compensated and ending up grazing that vehicle and tore off its licence plate.

The vehicle continued through the side of a residence on Jamaica Boulevard and hit a man in the back who was just sitting on his couch.

The home suffered structural damage and was posted by Code Enforcement.

The driver of the vehicle in the home went to Community Medical Center and the homeowner was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center.
