3. At Sandy Hook

4. The most likely is what is now Cliffwood Beach at the Monmouth/Middlesex border.

There are other possibilities as well, including Oyster Creek and Brigantine. So far there have been some false alarms, but no confirmed findings linked to Captain Kidd, but the search continues.
