Buddy Holly Recorded THAT’LL BE THE DAY this Day in 1957

It quickly became a #1 hit on Billboard, Buddy Holly and the Crickets recorded "That'll Be the Day" this day in 1957. Holly had recorded and released a version earlier on Decca, but this newer version on the Brunswick label proved to be the right one, and the rest is history.
