Bobby Fuller was born in Texas this day in 1943, and was influenced by the music of Buddy Holly, covering several Holly songs including "Love's Made a Fool of You." Fuller's brilliant recording career was cut short very early, and his bizarre and unexplained demise became an absorbing episode of Robert Stack's Unsolved Mysteries years later.
