Robert Zimmerman was born in Hibbing, Minnesota this day in 1941. As Bob Dylan he became a singing and songwriting legend. Among his songs that became hits for others - "It Ain't Me Babe" by the Turtles, "Mr. Tamborine Man" by the Byrds, "The Mighty Quinn" by Manfred Mann, "All I Really Want To Do" by both Cher and the Byrds, "Blowing in the Wind" by Peter Paul and Mary, "Don't Think Twice" by both Peter Paul and Mary and the Wonder Who (Four Seasons), and "If Not For You" by Olivia Newton-John.
