Beer Drinkers Will Love The Project Just Approved For Brick, NJ

Calling all beer drinkers....you are going to want to head to Brick STAT!

Have you ever heard of Icarus Brewing?

They are a New Jersey-based brewery who is currently located at 1790 Swarthmore Ave in Lakewood.

They have quite the selection of beer cans, glassware and merchandise.

Before I reveal the exciting news I have for you, let's take a look at some of the coolest beers, glassware and merchandise Icarus Brewing has available.

And just to be clear, this gallery only showed a portion of everything Icarus has to offer!

You can place orders online and schedule when you want to pick it up at the brewery as long it is within 7 days of when you placed the order.

And that is not all.

They can deliver right to your doorstep. Take a look at their website for all of the details on when they can deliver to your New Jersey area but what I can tell you is that their order delivery minimum is $50.00.

But I don't know if I consider buying $50.00 worth of beer a challenge, per say?

Well the exciting news is that Icarus Brewery will be relocating from Lakewood to 2045 Route 88 in Brick.

Why? The new building will be four times bigger.

"The fist time I saw this location, I immediately fell in love with it," said Icarus Brewing owner, Jason Goldstein according to MSN.com. "We've been looking to move from where we are in Lakewood for a long time. … This (property in Brick) is where we can build something beautiful."

Here is what the new brewery will include according to MSN.com: "a tasting room, open air beer garden and mezzanine with a view of the production room.  The new brewery, once renovations to the building are complete, would occupy just over 16,000 square feet of a 22,000-square-foot building."

The space would allow leadership to host tastings, tours and sales between 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

If you head to MSN.com, you can also see a blueprint of what the final building will look like. There will be other areas available that Icarus Brewing hopes to rent out that will compliment their business.

There is no set opening date just yet because approval was just given from the Brick Planning Board but we will keep you updated as more information comes in.

But for now, here are their hours for the Lakewood location:

Tuesday CLOSED
Wednesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday 12:00pm - 10:00pm
Saturday 12:00pm - 10:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm - 6:00pm
