The dining scene in Asbury Park has become very competitive. So many amazing restaurants, all offering delicious and unique cuisine.

Every year, the foodie website Eat This, Not That! goes state-by-state recognizing the best Italian restaurants.

I'm happy to announce that for the second year in a row, an Asbury Park hotspot has been singled out.

Congratulations to Pasta Volo! Located at 419 Bond Street, Pasta Volo has been serving up mouthwatering dishes since 2015.

I can tell you without question, Pasta Volo has the best homemade pasta I have ever tasted.

Think of this restaurant as a pasta version of Chipotle. Let me explain. You walk in and create your pasta box from the iPads that they have at the front. You can match and combine different types of pasta with the sauces they have. They have a ton of ingredients and toppings to pick. You can really get creative with it.

Eat This, Not That! raved about Pasta Volo.

When you want fast quality Italian, you have your work cut out for you if you find yourself in New Jersey. With so many options, you might not know where to look, but luckily, Pasta Volo stomps the competition with fresh pasta options and a selection of any kind of sauce you could imagine. Pasta Volo is even vegan-friendly! Just make sure to opt for takeout, as they only have a small seating area.

So, how did this website choose Pasta Volo for the win? Yelp.

Restaurants from New Jersey were filtered using the "Italian" category on Yelp. "Best" was decided solely on Yelp and their system of using the number of reviews and star ratings.

Another win for Asbury Park! Congratulations to Pasta Volo.
