The thefts, committed separately, began on September 18 at Munroe Tower on Sewall Avenue when police responded to a report of an electric trike scooter being stolen from the basement of the premise.

Then on September 22, the same man who was later found to be responsible for this theft entered the basement of the Asbury Ale House on Cookman Avenue and when management went down to check, he was gone.

However, on September 23, the man struck again as Asbury Park Police responded to Barrio Costero on Bangs Avenue for a report of a burglary and theft where the suspect stole various DeWalt power tools, a lap top computer and several bottles of liquor.

There was a double-header on September 23 as the very same man behind the aforementioned incidents was also behind a burglary at The Black Swan on Mattison Avenue where he stole several bottles of liquor.

Asbury Park Detectives were then able to track down clues and it led to the arrest of Latie M. Nealy III, 45, Asbury Park, who has been charged with Four counts of Burglary and multiple accounts of Theft.

Nealy was processed at the Asbury Park Police Headquarters and then transported and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court date.

Going back now to September 22, in a separate incident, Asbury Park Police responded to Asbury Lanes on Fourth Avenue for a report of a burglary and theft and in this incident several bottles of liquor were reported stolen as well.

There was also a case of criminal mischief to various secured areas.

On Saturday, September 25, Asbury Park Police responded to 510 Deal Lake Drive for a report of another burglary and theft in which numerous parcels were stolen from the mailroom.

This investigation led to the arrest of Daniel T. Ferrara Jr., 49, Ocean Grove, who was charged with two counts of Burglary and multiple accounts of Theft.

Ferrara was processed at the Asbury Park Police Headquarters and then transported and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending a court date.
