A juvenile faces at least four charges of theft by deception for allegedly conning vicitims into buying nonexistent trailers, and police are asking anyone who hasn't reported being taken in, to do so.

According to investigators, the youth posted images of a trailer, that actually has an owner, on Letgo. He then allegedly met prospective buyers nowhere near the rig, at the Suer X-tra Market on Memorial Drive, telling his marks that he's working, his dad is sick, or other alibis. Then, he produced fake bills of sake, and fake keys, took cash, and took off, police said.

Anyone aware of similar instances should contact the Asbury Park PD Detective Bureau, 732-502-4534, or their Tip Line, 732-988-1772.

Detectives April Bird and Sean DeShader lead the investigation.
