Are You Booking This Church Airbnb In Philadelphia, PA?
I was online looking for places to stay for my next weekend getaway and found the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever seen. It’s located right in the heart of Philly, right by Rittenhouse Square. The place itself is titled ‘The Deacon - A Place To Gather’ on the Airbnb website.
Judging from the pictures themselves, it looks like this building was a church of some sort that was completely refurbished and is now one of the most impressive places I’ve seen.
Scrolling through the pictures on the website, you can already see how trendy and modern this “house” is. From the emerald green walls to the minimalist furniture, this place looks like it came straight from an Instagram post.
You can really tell just by looking at the pictures that the host, Everett, posted that they kept the structure of the old church the same inside and completely modernized it. The rounded archways and the stained glass windows that made the cut on this house really make the interior so beautiful.
I’m can’t stress how 2022 the decor is in here. The gold, white, and emerald green color scheme is the new fad right now and this place encapsulated it perfectly.
Although the downstairs is beautiful on its own, the upstairs bedrooms are honestly just as aesthetically pleasing.
When going upstairs to one of the 8 bedrooms that are available to use in this house, they all have that 70’s inspired, quirky yet modern look that we all need to add to our Pinterest boards.
I think this bedroom specifically is my favorite of the ones pictured, just because of how awesome I think the stained glass windows are. This place is a total must if you’re looking for a getaway in the Philly area.
The price is ranging anywhere from $1,800 - to $1,900 per night. Yeah, that seems like a lot, but this place holds 16 guests between its 8 bedrooms, 13 beds, and 5 bathrooms, so you better find your closet 15 friends and start Venmo requesting them now.
The bookings are starting to fill up quickly, so if you plan on making your friends jealous online by posting videos of you making your avocado toast in a bougie kitchen on your Snapchat stories, then you better act fast.
