We are minutes from December, and now it's time to think all things holiday season. And one of those things is Christmas cards.

Let me start by saying the cards with pictures of the my friends and family's kids are awesome. They're adorable and a nice keepsake. Let's be honest, when you pull an old one out it warms your heart to see pictures from a few years ago.

And I'll even throw in the pet pictures. We love animals and love to celebrate them. Proud pet parents get to send out those adorable pictures as far as I'm concerned.

And if somebody sends me a Christmas card with a personal note in it, it means the world to me. But it kind of ends there for me. And when kids make cards for you, it doesn't get better than that.

The rest of the cards that come in just because I'm on "the Christmas card list" might be a bit much.

I don't want to seem unappreciative that people are thinking of me and my family, but you know what I'm thinking. For every card I get, I feel the need to send one back, and the vicious card cycle begins.

It's a tough one, because you can't get mad that you got a card. It's actually a sweet gesture. It's just the pressure to send one back, right? Maybe there should be a place on the card for you to "unsubscribe"
