There is no hobby quite like antiquing. It's kind of like treasure hunting, and when you find that perfect piece, you feel like the greatest pirate ever. Alright, maybe it's not quite all that, but it is fun. By the way, if you want to antique like a pirate, you go for it!

So which of our many antique spots is the best, we asked around in an informal, unscientific survey, and tow place were mentioned way more than any other, and there's one for each county.

So based on the info you provided us, here are the two best antique places at the Jersey Shore...

Monmouth County...

Antique Center, Red Bank. It all started in the mid 60's when the Johnson Family began a 12 dealer show. These days there are over 100 dealers, and it is a destination for antique lovers from Monmouth County and well beyond.

Ocean County...

.Point Pleasant Antique Emporium. If you're looking for it, they will have it, and most likely in mint condition at Point Pleasant Antique Emporium. From furniture and pottery to vintage toys and jewelry, the spectrum of items is impressive.

Those are the two antique shops you put on top of the list, but there are many others throughout Monmouth & Ocean Counties. And now is a great time to show your love for them. Shop local, buy local!
