We hope you tried to play along with yesterday's Monmouth County Name Game. Time to give you the answers to all the questions.

Before we get to the answers, let's give you a chance to play if you didn't play along yesterday. Here are the clues once again.

(1) This township used to be called Atlantic Township. The name probably comes from a shape formed by two brooks.

(2) This township was named after a 19th century doctor who owned local land. But the town's name is spelled differently than the Dr.'s. It's missing a "t".

(3) This township was once called Ocean Beach and Elco,. It's current name means beautiful sea.

(4) This town was named after a successful real estate man who was Asbury Park's founder, but the town we are talking about is not Asbury Park.

(5) This town was named after a legal term which had to do with voting laws and land ownership in colonial times.

We also supplied you with an additional clue, telling you that the town names in 4 of the 5 cases were two syllable names, while one name had three syllables. We hope that helped a little bit.

I  will also admit that if you knew three or less, meaning a 60% or less, don't feel bad. I can guarantee you are not alone. As a matter of fact, I took the test before I peeked at the answer, and I only got three right. Numbers 2 and 5 stumped me.

Are you ready for the answers? Here they are...

(1) Colts Neck

(2) Hazlet

(3) Belmar

(4) Bradley Beach

(5) Freehold

Thanks for playing along. If you did great, congratulations. If not, at least you're a little more ready for your next game show visit!
