ANNIE’S 40th Anniversary Today

It was 40 years ago today that Annie, loosely based upon the long-running comic strip Little Orphan Annie debuted on Broadway at the Alvin Theatre with the original cast of Dorothy Loudon, Reid Shelton, and Andrea McArdle. In dog years, Sandy (arf) is 280 today. And, appropriately, according to the forecast, the sun WILL come out tomorrow.
