Mahana Fresh is Opening in Toms River

Back in September of 2020, Smashburger closed its Toms River location in the Shoprite plaza on Route 37 in Toms River. Now, we're getting word that an interesting food chain has leased that space and is planning on opening its first New Jersey location here at the Shore.

Mahana Fresh is a build your own bowl healthy lifestyle restaurant.

First, you start with a base.

Basmati Rice Blend
Coconut Rice
Sesame Noodles
Cauliflower Rice
Spinach
Kale Crunch Salad

Next, you move on to your veggies.

Sesame Ginger Broccoli
Roasted Mushrooms
Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts

You can't forget your protein.

Teriyaki Chicken
Grilled Steak

There's also an option for add-ons.

Mahana Fresh also has their signature bowls, desserts, kombucha, and more.

I was personally a fan of Smashburger and was sad to see it go. However, this new restaurant is new, different, and from the looks of it, healthy. Any fast-casual place that offers a healthy option is fine by me.
