According to McDonald's the McRib is the most important sandwich of the year...

It’s no wonder the McRib is The Most Important Sandwich of The Year—seasoned boneless pork dipped in tangy BBQ sauce, topped with slivered onions, crunchy dill pickle chips, and served on a toasted homestyle bun. This legendary BBQ sandwich is only here for a limited time so don’t miss out.

I have to tend to agree, I love when the McRib comes back. McDonald's is great at teasing and getting us prepared for this sandwich and then all of a sudden it's gone again. November 1st, McDonald's is bringing back the McRib. Get ready.

If you've never had a McRib - it's a McRib pork patty, McRib bbq sauce, pickle slices, and onions. The sandwich is pure goodness and deliciousness. You will need napkins. I like to dip the fries in the sauce. Along with the goodness, the McRib is 520 calories, according to mcdonalds.com, it's ok to cheat one day.

The McRib is one of the most popular sandwiches, next to the Big Mac at McDonald's. I truly believe when McDonald's made the McRib a sandwich that only comes out one or two times a year, it made it very popular.

The McRib brings back so many memories of my Dad, he loved it. I remember him always asking if the McRib is back, yet? Then my husband got me into the McRib again several years ago, I'm so glad he did. At least one night, when the McRib comes back, we will have a McRib date night.
