Discovery Shell Museum -  From their Facebook page: The Discovery Seashell Museum has been an Ocean City landmark for more than 40 years and is a great place for the whole family. We have thousands of different museum quality species of shells from all over the world as well as coral, starfish, and even children's toys. The Sea Shell Museum is Open 10 am - 5 pm everyday and it's FREE.

Marine Mammal Stranding Center - This non-profit rescues and the rehabilitation of stranded marine mammals and sea turtles. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center is open Tuesday - Sunday 10 am - 2 pm. *They are always open to rescue 24/7 but limit public access, please call first before going, just incase they're rescuing, 609 - 266 - 0538.

New Jersey Maritime Museum - The history of New Jersey Maritime. New Jersey Maritime Museum is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. *They do have summer hours.

Cape May Zoo - Animals, animals, and more animals. This is such a great, family place. You will love it at the Cape May Zoo. The Zoo is open is daily 10:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Howell Living History Farm - Learn rural history and heritage and hands-on activities, meeting interpreters in historic costume, and embarking on tours through a real, working farm set in the year 1900. This farm is a time machine that takes visitors back to the 1900's. Howell Living History Farm is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1 pm - 4 pm and Saturday 10 am - 4 pm.

Donations are always accepted at these museums.
