WEST WINDSOR — Four young men were hospitalized after being hit by a car near a busy Route 1 shopping center around midnight Saturday.

The collision near Marketfair involved a 2002 Buick Century driven by Markese C. Tucker, of Trenton, police said.

Police did not say whether any charges or violations would be filed, but asked that any witnesses come forward.

The four men were hit about 12:16 a.m. on Meadow Road at the Route 1 overpass.

A 23-year-old Hamilton resident was hospitalized with a broken left leg. A 22-year-old Trenton resident suffered a concussion and scratches. A 23-year-old Hamilton resident suffered "minor injuries." And a 22-year-old Hamilton resident checked into a hospital for evaluation after declining medical treatment at the scene, police said.

Marketfair includes an AMC movie theater and a number of shops and restaurants.
