According to  recent data from one publication, 3 New Jersey counties are among the Top 25 to live in in the United States.

Let's start with the bad news. Despite all of the benefits and joys of living at the Jersey Shore, Monmouth and Ocean Counties did not make the Top 25. So which Garden State Counties did?

#17 Hunterdon County

#16 Morris County

#15 Somerset County

So, how did 24/7 Wall St. come up with these rankings? They used an index that included bachelor’s degree attainment and poverty rate. All data they used came from from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2017 American Community Survey, according to their website.

Last year, Hunterdon County was ranked #22, Morris County was #19 and Somerset County landed at #18.

So, it's pretty impressive for the Garden State to be represented 3 times in this study. Maybe next year, we'll see Monmouth and Ocean Counties on the list.
