RANDOLPH — What looked like a regular office complex on Route 10 hid an illegal secret inside, according to police.

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp announced that after an almost month-long investigation, police found hundreds of marijuana plants and other illegal drugs with a value of more than $1 million. Knapp said in addition to the plants, police found marijuana ready for packaging and distribution. Police also seized close to $4,000 and several vehicles connected to the facility.

In addition to two residents from New Jersey being arrested, Knapp also announced the arrest of people New York, and a man from California for a total of eight arrests. The New Jersey residents taken into custody were 46-year-old Juan T. Addison, of Hillside, and 20-year-old Lila V. Wroblewski, of Jersey City.

All were charged with one count of first-degree maintaining and or operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility, specifically an indoor marijuana grow facility with more than 50 plants. They were also charged with one count of first-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and one count of fourth-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
