Out on bail in late 2017 for other drug distribution charges, Tracy Anderson, 52, of Asbury Park was arrested for heroin possession, just the latest among his repeated narcotics related convictions.

On Friday March 23 Anderson was sentenced to 10-years in jail with a 57-month period of parole eligibility, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

The latest charges include second-degree possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a public housing zone.

Anderson who committed this crime in Neptune Township while out on bail for other drug offenses, pled guilty to the crimes on December 8, 2017.

MC Assistant Prosecutor Ashley Behre handled the case for the State.

Anderson was sentenced to an extended term of incarceration due to his prior drug distribution convictions.

The offenses for Anderson added up to his 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th felony convictions pinned to his criminal record.
