Woman Shot at Neptune VFW

A Neptune woman was shot during what police are calling a large fight at the township's Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) hall early Saturday morning.

Police responded to the Corlies Avenue facility at 12:28am following a 911 report. It's not yet clear how many people were involved in the fight or how many shots were fired.

The 20-year-old victim was found on Myrtle Avenue in Asbury Park. She remains in the hospital in critical condition.
