A woman was in need of first aid after falling while getting her two grandchildren off of 'The Crazy Bus Ride' located on Casino Pier in Seaside Heights Thursday night around 9:30 pm, Seaside Heights Police Detective Steve Korman tells WOBM News.

The 51-year old woman from Philadelphia suffered minor injuries from the fall while trying to help her grandchildren off the ride.

She was transported to Community Medical Center by Tri-Boro First Aid.

Casino Pier Administration immediately shut down the ride and contacted the New Jersey State Amusement Ride Safety Unit.

This is the latest ride related incident at the Jersey Shore with a ride getting stuck in the air back on June 3 at Six-Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township.

There were no reported injuries in that incident.
