Woman found dead at Palisades Parkway State Line Outlook
ALPINE — A North Jersey woman found dead at the State Line Lookout on the Palisades Parkway late Thursday night.
The body of Kari Kaminski, 45, of Cresskill, was found below a rock wall at the Lookout on the New Jersey/New York line along the northbound lanes after officers stopped to check on a Subaru Forrester parked after closing hours, according to Palisades Parkway Police.
As they checked the area on foot, they noticed a woman's purse on a rock wall just north of the main lookout on Old Route 9W.
Police said they have not determined a cause of death or the circumstances leading to her death and their investigation continues into Kaminski's death.
