As we ease back into the post holiday routine here at the Jersey Shore, there is some talk of snow affecting our work week. So what's the latest?

There is the possibility that an early Thursday coastal storm, which is predicted to stay well off shore could bring some snow to the Jersey Shore. There are many variables however, and our meteorologist Dan Zarrow says that right now his forecast is leaning conservative.

As it stands right now, Dan says it looks like the immediate coast could see up to three inches of snow early Thursday, with little to no accumulation expected away from the coast.

It's still early on this one, so stay up to date with the latest forecast by following Dan Zarrow's blog. Dan does say that the bitter cold will be around for several more days, so we'll continue to have to bundle up.

Dan will continue to keep us updated on the potential first snowfall of 2018.
