The wig wearing criminal wanted for crimes across the Jersey Shore including in Toms River and Wall is  arrested in Asbury Park on Thursday.

Asbury Park police say they've collared the woman believed to be linked to the crimes in the neighboring shore communities.

43-year old Brook Slade of Arizona was i-d'd by workers at PNC Bank on Sunset Avenue in Asbury Park.

Brook Slade of Arizona, 43, tried using a phony I-D and stolen debit cards at PNC Bank on Sunset Avenue around 4:07 pm.

Bank workers informed police that they believed this woman was the same one wanted for fraud in other locations.

She then fled when she spotted police who arrived at the bank and saw her at the drive-up window in a dark silver Nissan Sedan.

She then made several evasive maneuvers which resulted in the officer losing sight of the car.

At 4:22 pm she was spotted on Heck Street after fleeing through a property parking lot.

She allegedly stole a vehicle's license plate, police say, and then took off on foot again.

Slade was found in the 500 block of Asbury Avenue and arrested.

She is charged criminally with Eluding, two counts of Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) Prescription Drugs Xanax, Trespassing and motor vehicle violations for Reckless Driving, Driving Without a License, Two Counts of Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign, Fictitious Plates, Failure to Signal and Failure to Maintain Lane.

Upon completion of investigation/processing she will be transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution to await a court date.

The public is reminded that criminal charges are accusations only.  Every criminal defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
