JACKSON TOWNSHIP - Residents with an interest in helping shape Jackson's future, can do so through any one of 12 committees, commissions and advisory boards now open for new membership.
The members of each group focus on specific areas of the quality and pace of life in Jackson Township, municipal services, environmental stewardship, population density, commerce, medical first-responders, and much more.
Their recommendations are given to Mayor Michael Reina and the Township Council for consideration and action.
Members are sought for:
- Veterans Commission
- Rent Leveling Board
- Planning Board
- Zoning Board
- Economic Development Commission
- Citizens Budget Advisory Committee
- Private Residential Communities Advisory Board
- Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board
- Environmental Commission
- Historical Commission
- Shade Tree Commission
