As we all know, it has been a devastating hurricane season in the U.S., and now our attention turns to Tropical Storm Jose.

Will this system have an impact on Jersey Shore weather? Well, according to our meteorologist Dan Zarrow, who has been carefully tracking Jose, we could see some impact to our forecast.

Dan says a direct hit remains unlikely, there's a good chance we'll see some rain, wind and surf impacts around Tuesday of nest week. The system is currently about 1000 miles southeast of the Garden State.

As we know, and have been reminded by both Harvey and Irma, the smartest thing to do is to keep an eye on these storms for any changes or adjustments in their path.

You can follow the latest on Jose and it's potential impact on our weather by following Dan Zarrow's weather blog.
