There were no injuries from a tractor trailer fire Monday afternoon on Hall Mills Road in Freehold but what caused it remains a mystery this morning.

The trailer was just sitting outside of a business with smoke filling the inside.

Initial responding personnel confirmed a working trailer fire.

The blaze was put under control quickly and out after the East Freehold Fire Company arrived around 12:23 pm.

The operator of the truck moved the trailer to a safe area with minimal exposure risk and disconnected the truck.
