Two Ocean County residents are in a heap of trouble after Brick Police's Drug Enforcement Unit found guns and drugs in their car last night around 11:00 pm.

A vehicle stop by Brick Police near the Lowe's on Route 70 in the township yielded nearly seven ounces of heroin or about 200-grams that's worth approximately $35,000.00 on the streets, two-30 round high capacity magazines fully loaded with .223 caliber ammo plus an additional 292 rounds, 51-hollow point bullets, a .380 caliber magazine loaded with six bullets plus an additional 50-rouns, 99 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition and about $1,700.00 in cash.

Phillip Tarver, 34, of Toms River, was arrested and charged with obstructing, hindering apprehension, possession of high capacity magazine, possession of hollow point ammunition, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute (over five ounces).

He also had outstanding warrants on other charges out of Ocean County.

Rajuonna Baker, 22, of Lakewood, was also arrested and charged with possession of a high capacity magazine and possession of hollow point ammunition.

Both were transported and lodged in Ocean County Jail after being processed.
