Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting on Martin Luther King Drive June 3 that left two Lakewood men with injuries, one of whom is now paralyzed from the waist down after being in critical condition.

Tyquan Jones, 22, of Lakewood got into a verbal argument with the victims and Tareekah Richardson, 27, of Howell allegedly shot his gun four times and hit both of the Lakewood men.

Jones was arrested at a home in Long Branch by the U.S. Marshalls without incident and is being charged with Attempted Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

Richardson was arrested July 5 by police in Freehold Borough outside of a deli and charged with Attempted Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

Brandon Brown, 27, of Howell was also arrested and charged in the incident for allegedly aiding the other two men in an undisclosed manner following the shooting.

He was arrested Thursday morning July 13, by the New Jersey State Police Gang Task Force and U.S. Marshalls and is being charged with Attempted Murder.

The investigation lasted six-weeks.
