As I’ve told you before there are just days with I have nothing really to offer and today is one of those days.

I’m sure many of you are familiar with Linked In, a social networking website for work professionals.  It’s a place people seem to use to improve job prospects, obtain references, update their resume and more.

I guess I signed on a couple of years ago at the invitation of someone and I’ve paid little attention to it.  I mention this strictly to apologize for those who have contacted me through Linked In and receive no response.  Frankly I don’t totally understand it and lately I’ve been getting emails from people who have endorsed me for skills and expertise.  Thank you even if I don’t know what it means.

Does anyone know what a yield sign means?  I didn’t think so and no it does not mean speed up to beat the car that has the right of way.

Anthony Starego will be part of the sell-out crowd that will pack High Point Solutions Stadium tonight where Rutgers will host Louisville with the Big East Title and BCS Bowl bid on the line.  It was six years ago that the Scarlet Knights burst onto the national stage when they beat the Cardinals in a Thursday Night thriller thanks to a late field goal by Jeremy Ito.  Starego watched that game on TV and told his father afterwards he wanted to be a kicker which is not unusual for a 12-year old unless you add in the fact that Anthony is autistic.

Many of you know he’s now a senior at Brick High School and received national attention in October when he kicked a game-winning field goal for the Green Dragons.  Anthony, who is a huge Rutgers fan, is featured in a segment running this morning on ESPN’s Sportscenter which will also be shown during the nationally televised game tonight.

Speaking of football.  In a shameless plug we’ll be previewing the State Sectional Semifinals tonight on the Barnabas Health High School Football Show, which airs on 105.7FM and is broadcast live from the Water Street Grill.  Among tonight’s guests will be Tom Kelly and Tyler Walsh of Lacey and Southern quarterback Dan Higgins.  The show airs from 7-8:30pm.

Thanks for sticking around.
