Tent Catches Fire and Ignites Trees in Lakewood
A tent fire in Lakewood this evening catches the attention of state forest fire officials.
According to the Lakewood Scoop, the vacant tent went up in flames at around 5 o'clock in Tent City off Cedar Bridge Avenue and set some nearby trees on fire.
The Lakewood Fire Department called in a brush truck and was able to get the blaze under control in about 15 minutes. No injuries are reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
