The New Jersey Senate Republican caucus have sent a letter to Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin asking them to schedule votes in both houses of the Legislature as they hope to override a bill Governor Phil Murphy vetoed which would help save New Jersey’s struggling restaurant industry.

The 2020 elections will feature the Presidential race and locally, the congressional race where in the 3rd District which covers Burlington and Ocean County, a challenger has come forward to oppose Democrat Andy Kim next year.

As he campaigns for the Republican nomination for president, Gov. Chris Christie continues to spend more time in other states than New Jersey, he’s a lame duck governor and his approval numbers have hit rock bottom with New Jersey voters.
