Artistic Director Steve Steiner says they're hoping to fill a void with a number of beloved musicals scheduled next year.

"We'll be doing the last of the Nunsense shows in early May. In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the sailing we'll be doing Titanic. Many people Gypsy to be one of the most perfect musical comedies ever written. We'll be doing that."

Steiner says their goal is to put on affordable, quality entertainment.

They even have a special New Year's Eve show. "We've got the 'Night the Music Lived' a brand new show which is the final concert that was given in Clear Lake Iowa by Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens.

Steiner, who ran Surf Light Theater for over twelve years says he believes they'll be able to succeed in a challenging economy because they have their pulse on what Ocean County residents want when it comes to entertainment. He also says he wants to fill a void created when his former company decided to go in a new direction.
