Spring Is Here- 3 Sure Signs At The Jersey Shore

Spring 2017 has arrived at the Jersey Shore. The best time of year to be a resident of the Jersey Shore has arrived.

Even though the weather hasn't exactly cooperated in the past week or so, there is no doubt that people are starting to get in the spring mode and while the temperature doesn't warrant it, I have seen three signs that spring is here.

Top Down. Yes, I saw a convertible with the top down this weekend. I'm sure the heat was cranked up, but the guy gets an A for having a good attitude. That guy is ready for spring.

Shoes Off. I've seen it and you've seen it too. Jersey Shore residents are already abandoning their shoes for the beloved flip flops. As far as we're concerned, it's never too early for the flip flops.

Cars Everywhere. My town of Point Pleasant was bustling yesterday. Cars and traffic everywhere. Maybe it was more cabin fever than anything, but it's definitely a sign of things to come.

So welcome to spring at the Jersey Shore. Before you know it, grills will be fired up up, pools will be opened up, and school will be done. Ahh, it's the most wonderful time of the year!
