Wanamassa police responded to multiple Colonial Terrace calls February 5 regarding burglaries. While canvassing the crime scene, police discovered exterior surveillance cameras.

The camera footage produced a person of interest, which police posted on social media and various news media outlets including Townsquare Media. The posting bred an anonymous tip, which led investigators to Pacheco - and property reported stolen, authorities said.

Pacheco was taken into custody Tuesday. He is charged with three counts of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He will remain in Monmouth County Correctional Institute until his court appearance.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
