Runyan Kicks Off Re-Election [VIDEO]

Third district Republican Congressman Jon Runyan is kicking off his re-election campaign in Ocean County with a message that he is still the same guy he was when he started.

Speaking at the Toms River Holiday on Route 37 Monday night, Runyan told a crowd that his previous messages still apply.

“I pledged to you last year” said Runyan “we’re here to change Congress, to change the way things are done in Washington, and I pledge to you that I will never ever let them change me.”

The former Eagles All Pro offensive lineman reiterated his commitment to not becoming a Washington insider.

“I told you the last time, if you see me changing it’s time for me to move on.” said Runyan.

Runyan kicks off his Burlington County kickoff tonight at the Westin Hotel in Mount Laurel.
