The Red Sox continue to show that they won 108 games during the regular season because they were the best team in baseball.

After ousting the defending champion Astros in five games in the ALCS they advance to the World Series beginning Tuesday night at Fenway Park and will face either the Dodgers or Brewers but I don’t think it matters.  This just seems to be Boston’s year.

Hard to believe it but this weekend and next end the regular season schedule for high school football teams with the playoffs to begin the first weekend in November.  Toms River North hopes to take another step to a spot in the playoffs tonight when they visit crosstown rival Toms River East.

It’s our Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week and will be broadcast on 92.7 WOBM with a live video stream at shoresportsnetwork.com. To see who our so-called “experts” like in all the Shore Conference games visit shoresportsnetwork.com.
