Powerball Jackpot Grows To $235 Million
The annuity value of tonight's Powerball jackpot is at $235 million.
It’s the fifth time in 2013 the jackpot for the multi-state game has topped $200 million. There hasn't been a winner since June 22 when a jackpot with an annuity value of $131 million was won in Pennsylvania by a Delaware County woman who came forward this week.
The cash value of tonight's Powerball jackpot is $136.5 million which is won by matching all 5 numbers drawn at 10:59 p.m. tonight along with the Powerball number. Your odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510 according to the Powerball website. There’s a 1 in 31.85 chance that a ticket holder could win something else including the smallest prize of $4.
The drawing will be televised by WABC TV and WPVI TV and can also be watched on the Powerball webiste.
New Jersey is a lucky place for Powerball. There was another winning ticket worth $1 million sold in New Jersey for the last drawing on Saturday and a Passaic man won a $338 million Powerball jackpot in March.
The multi-state lottery is played in 42 states including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware.
