BRICK — Three Jersey Shore daycare facilities in the same town may have been targeted by thieves looking to steal items from parked cars.

Township police said an SUV,  possibly a newer silver Hyundai, was captured on surveillance video on Wednesday between 7:45 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. driving through the parking lots at all three facilities.

The car was seen on Thursday morning just after 8 a.m. at the Goddard School on Drum Point Road where witnesses told police two men shattered the front passenger window of one car and stole a pocketbook with personal items and cash inside. The men then got into a second car and took a pocketbook which contained cash and a debit card.

The two male suspects were wearing black hats and black jackets. The SUV had tinted windows and missing a front license plate.

Police asked anyone with information about this incident or has had a similar experience to call 732-262-1170.
