Pedestrian Crossing Law Violators Will Get Summonses in Lakewood
The Lakewood Police Department is about to begin the enforcement phase of New Jersey's pedestrian crossing laws.
According to the Lakewood Scoop, police conducted its last pedestrian crossing safety detail Tuesday at the intersection of Clifton Avenue and 11th Street where they handed out fliers to motorists who failed to stop for pedestrians at crosswalks. They'll now be issuing summonses.
